Well, I'm feeling heaps better since my last post. A big THANK YOU to those of you who offered encouraging thoughts and well wishes for my future endeavours (since losing my job). All much appreciated.
I must say, I've been busy, busy, busy! I've scored some freelance work and given out a couple of quotes for graphic design work, and the thing is, I didn't have to chase it. It came to me by word of mouth. It's a real luxury to be able to make money from the comfort of my own home! It may not be a fortune, but it's enough to keep me happy for now. Plus I have enough time to do this and post more pieces.
Very soon I'll be posting some items for sale in my new online shop. I'm starting small with a series of blank note cards. They'll be printed on archival 100% cotton rag paper which has a beautiful texture and makes the colours look glorious! Stay tuned for these...
In the mean time, enjoy this last series of pieces I created a while ago. They were inspired by poetry, heroines and everyday people from the past.
