Well, I'm feeling heaps better since my last post. A big THANK YOU to those of you who offered encouraging thoughts and well wishes for my future endeavours (since losing my job). All much appreciated.I must say, I've been busy, busy, busy! I've scored some freelance work and given out a couple of quotes for graphic design work, and the thing is, I didn't have to chase it. It came to me by word of mouth. It's a real luxury to be able to make money from the comfort of my own home! It may not be a fortune, but it's enough to keep me happy for now. Plus I have enough time to do this and post more pieces.
Very soon I'll be posting some items for sale in my new online shop. I'm starting small with a series of blank note cards. They'll be printed on archival 100% cotton rag paper which has a beautiful texture and makes the colours look glorious! Stay tuned for these...
In the mean time, enjoy this last series of pieces I created a while ago. They were inspired by poetry, heroines and everyday people from the past.
